1st  Texas Vel-Hi Kennel's Boxer :
              Vel-Hi's  Stroker  Ace

Vel-Hi's Stroker Ace was his registered name; I lovingly called him Stroker. He was my first boxer, my best friend; confidant; lifesaver, numerous times; ranchdog>bullbaiter - goat catcher; service dog; seizure alert dog; He would watch kids in his care in the yard with a vigilance; no stranger opened my gate - my truck - my children; he'd do tricks; pray; and  just be a member of the family.
Stroker, lived for 13 1/2 years. Not long enough for me, I would loved to of had him with me for the rest of my life. Yes i have a daughter / granddaughter / gt. grandson / sons but they are not the same. I do love each and everyone, but your very first boxer, is very special in your heart.
You will Never Forget  him / her.  I won't.
Neither will Lynda of Chip, Strokers father and her first.
I will never ever be without a boxer. and especially a Vel-Hi  lined boxer.
TRY ONE YOU JUST MIGHT LOVE THEM.

Vel-Hi's Texas Connection's  1st Boxer of it's Kennel

Vel-Hi's Chocolate Chip, lovingly called Chip. He is Lynda's  Vel-Hi's Texas Connection foundation sire, and my Stroker's sire.  He lived to be 15 yrs old.

He sired many beautiful boxers, was out of Vel-Hi's Bright Gem and CH. Anheiser Bud of Vaalida. Now deceased, he lived to be 15.  He was a one of a kind.  But he did pass on his traits, as my Stroker showed this.  This fine boxer is why I fell in love with  boxers and wanted one. He was Lynda's best bud, confidant, protector. She is a groomer, and people could bring their pets in her shop and be greeted lovingly. Come and pick them up of the evening, same way. BUT if she locked her door, don't try and come in, he was a fierce protector, in her home-workplace-truck. He is surely missed and forever loved.
